"Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds." (Catechism of the Catholic Church #1316)

Children typically celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of the 8th grade year. Preparation is part of the Religious Education curriculum at St. Stephen Martyr School, and through the IPFFF program.

Adults who were baptized Catholic as infants but who have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation and would like to do so, are asked to contact the Parish Office for more information.
